Resume and Cover Letter

Create a mobile friendly resume and cover letter.

As you apply for jobs from your mobile device, it’s important to make sure your resume and cover letter are compatible for the mobile web. Make sure your resume is uploaded as a PDF to your professional website or portfolio. You should also upload your resume to LinkedIn so you can easily apply for jobs with your LinkedIn account.

Mobile has become so ingrained in our everyday culture that it's hard to imagine a time when we didn't have immediate, on-demand access to just about anything we wanted to know. According to the Jobvite 2015 Job Seeker Nation report, nearly half of millennials are using mobile devices during their job search. Heather Huhman, Glassdoor.com, writes that "over the upcoming years, we can expect mobile to influence the way job seekers connect with employers."

In this slideshow, Huhman has identified five mobile job search tips that will help you improve your job search and find more opportunities for your career.
