    BYOD Resistance Remains Stiff Within IT

    There’s obviously a lot of interest and concern over the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) phenomenon in IT circles. A new global survey of 1,485 IT leaders, conducted by Vanson Bourne on behalf of Dell Quest, finds that those concerns are not limited to security.

    It turns out a sizable number of IT organizations simply don’t have the tools and processes in place to manage BYOD. For that reason alone, the survey finds that IT resistance to BYOD despite potential gains in end-user productivity remains fairly strong.
