Security Policy

Part of guaranteeing network security in ensuring that you have a working security team and that it has a budget allocated to the effort. This policy template will help you get the initiative underway.

The City and County of San Francisco Committee on Information Technology (COIT) uses
this policy to inform users, staff and managers of their responsibilities, obligations
and requirements to protect information technology and assets.

This policy requires departments to create an IT security working group, adopt a
security policy framework, develop a risk assessment policy and identify security
budget guidelines.
