Release Management Plan

After the coding is "complete," the release of a new application or system into production is a major project in itself. We use this Release Management Plan ourselves here at IT Business Edge.

The overall goal of Release Management is to protect the live system while new software or hardware configuration items are being implemented. The entire Release Management process starts with the gathering of requirements through the final testing stages and ends with the actual release into the production environment. The attached Release Management Plan is designed to provide a structured approach to rolling out the new software or hardware to the live/production environment. This should assist in providing your company with quick and accurate release builds.

This release management plan is used by the NarrowCast Group.
