This document gives users a template for putting important network documentation in one place. Use this template to keep track of which switch ports connect to which rooms and computers, who has access to network information, who will be notified of network changes and more.
Many companies have a network document policy, which specifies the level of network documentation required. That documentation, for instance, might state which switch ports connect to which rooms and computers. It defines who will have access to that documentation and who can change it. It also defines who will be notified when changes are made to the network. The attached document gives users a template for putting all the important documentation in one place.
