This document gives clear guidance on the critical task of evaluating the risks associated with an IT project, including person effort and key components, as well as research on current corporate best practices.
A feasibility study is an invaluable tool that helps companies evaluate and analyze the risks associated with a proposed IT project. These studies are the responsibility of the project leaders. They require significant research and insight into existing corporate practices and issues and knowledge of how different solutions will affect the organization.
This template gives decision makers tasked with a feasibility study a starting point for creating a comprehensive document. The template provides guidance on the person effort required to complete each section; a table of contents outlining what should make up a feasibility study; and detailed guidance on what should go into each section of the document.
Use this template to reduce document preparation pressures and create a standard feasibility study document for the company.
