Hmm . Are you waiting for the final release..But if you want to try it, you can use the RC version (Win 7). You can officially download from microsoft till June.. It is good  . I tried it..Check my blog for the news. http://beware-microsoft.blogspot.com/

Guest mike  says in response to steven:

Guest Tom King  says in response to cf500:

torent is junk now days because you can watch free movies and tv on your puter and the sane with games a torent is a program that would break up a program into a butt load of files so you could send them to someone with out breaking a laws but now days even if you use a torent it is agaist the law so you dont want it

Guest pattricia  says in response to mike:

Guest Grant  says in response to steven:

I completely agree with you about Vista not being the best of OS's.  I have followed umpteen links to download Windows 7, all I get is empty results.  Boo Hoo!!!  I really need a new OS, especially for Internet Explorer which right now, sucks!!!  I have IE 8 and it was supposed to be "all that" but so far it's been all NOT!!! with freezes constantly!!!  I am so sick of it!!!  I"m going to find a true download of windows 7 I'm determined.

Guest graham  says in response to Grant :

Hi,

go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/installation-instructions.aspx

amnd you can download latest version of Windows 7, you make have to register, but that is no problem and only takes a minute.

Good luck.

Graham

Guest Jo  says in response to cf500:

A torrent is instead of normal downloading like that of downloading from one source or site like a whole file that might be a program or just an image or document it downloads it abnormally in pieces from different alternate sites or server addresses simultaneously. This was for security reasons as it was orginally developed by a superhacker that worked for both american security and military organisations such as NSA,FBI,etc. It was designed so as to make it more difficult for other hackers to interfere with a computer while downloading.Torrenting as I call it is not exactly the same as downloading and is not entirely legal either in comparison to downloading, but it is far more secure.Where torrenting comes into it's own is when your torrenting encrypted files into an ftp site worth a couple thousand TBs (Terabytes),or a superserver ( Not to be confused with a supercomputer).Long live the TB.

Guest laksa  says in response to steven:

windows 7 goog

Guest abricossow  says:

With all the bad publicity regarding Windows Vista - I believe the least Microsoft can do is offer Windows 7 FREE to all of us who PAID for Windows Vista....do you want our business or do we go to APPLE....??

aquiles aquiles  says in response to pc.name?html:

i have windows 7 and it´s working goog but sometimes just sometimes it freezes when it goes to scremsaver IT´S THAT NORMAL? aaa and i dont have the screemsaver active..

Guest Eduardo  says in response to cf500:

A torrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing system. Works like this: there's a gazillion machines called trackers, who mantains the availability of the shared file, and once you choose a resource to download (let's say, a freeware like this), it first downloads a file witn .torrent extension; this file is used by the actual program used to download the resources. One of the most popular is called utorrent.

Do your homework, and drop questions like this in Google; it has been answered a million times before.

User1703680 User1703680  says:

how can i load free windows xp because i have problem in my win xp

Guest jreniel  says in response to cf500:

we can't tell you. if we tell you you'll start downloading illegal copies of software, music, printed books and anything useful you can find. >=Þ

Guest jreniel  says in response to User1703680:

theoretically you can't download a free copy of xp, as it is illegal because every copy of XP has it's own unique validation number. so your validation number is only valid for the copy of XP the manufacturer of your coputer should have given you. Then again, there are illegal copies of XP out there, but most of them will not pass windows advantage validation regardless if you have your own key or not. But keep looking, there is a solution to everything.

Guest G.W.83  says in response to cf500:

Google it

Guest Steven  says in response to steven:

Windows 7 RC is avaliable but this will expire 1 June 2010 with two-hourly shutdowns beginning 1 March 2010. The Windows 7 RC can be downloaded from the link below:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/evalcenter/dd353205.aspx

I would recommend installing this in a seperate partition as the Windows 7 RC will do the above.

The General RELEASE DATE for Windows 7 is October 22nd 2009.

Guest aman  says in response to steven:

powerCo-v2

Guest DZvonko Nikolov  says in response to User1703680:

Use Ubuntu live CD. 9.04 is current, but any will do. Ubuntu can see windows partitions, so you can fix problem. free xp is not existing, but crak sites do. if you want to register xp for free, go there, but beware of viruses and troyans.

You just need to burn hte .iso file you downloaded. If you have Nero, then you can do with it or you can use IsoBurner etc. You can google, on how to burn an ISO image to a DVD. Then you will get a bootable  DVD. Just insert the DVD and you continue with the onsite instructions. See more news on Winodws 7 on  Windows Tech Blog

Guest Fernando  says:

Hello!

To the people having problems installing Windows 7, you should try downloading and/or burning again the .ISO file.

A VERY BIG percentage of bad burned copies was the principal cause of failed installations. (Error messages, freezes, etc.).

Good luck!

Guest Fernando  says in response to femi:

Hello Femi!

If you installed Windows 7 64bit, the general 32bit plug-in won't work.

If it is your case, then you can give the new (and experimental yet) 64bit Flash Player 10 alpha a try. But remember: it's "alpha". Install at your own risk...

Good luck!

Guest paul  says in response to cf500:

this is not professional(downloading in illegal way) please contact Microsoft and offer they will send it to you or use free os(linux based)

Guest Fernando  says in response to Fernando:

Sorry, sorry, sorry!

The 64bit Flash Player 10 alpha is a LINUX ONLY plug-in! NOT for Windows.

I´ve tryied to download it today, but it´s just Linux flavor.

Hope Adobe release the Windows version quickly.

Fernando.

Guest Vesko  says:

lol what do you use, Linux? XDDDDDD Call me when you need to type 10 lines of text like in DOS just to install a program XDDDD

Guest Glem  says in response to pc.name?html:

Seems like you have not used Linux in a long time. Linux users nowadays utilize the command-line because they choose to, not because you need it to actually complete a task. Of course, it depends on what kind of packages your installation has (distribution), but at least here in my Mandriva Macbook, I have configured my desktop and most of the tasks using only -and only- the graphical tools.

This situation you speak of, nevertheless, is real to many new linux users, and marred by the fact that most people who use linux daily are "geeks" (in a good sense), thus accustomed in using command-lines to solve virtually everything. That's why the forums are full of "sudo this" and "grep | glxinfo" that. But it's slowly yet noticeably changing as time passes on...

You see, linux has never been truly user-friendly until the second half of the 2000s, and as such, the community has created a paradigm where programming and everyday tasks intermingle into "normal." By contrast, Windows users have always dominated the market (something I do not oppose -just Windows as a company dominating it), and therefore familiarity with the toolboxes comes the same way a children learns his/her native tongue. Therefore, user-friendly windows help usually points to the icons, whereas tech-friendly linux help usually shows the same steps in command-lines; both of them do basically the same stuff, just in different directories, processes and (more to the point) interfaces.

At least whenever I help somebody, I always point to the control center(s) and other graphical tools, and I know I'm not alone. A modern, developing platform like linux is most of all susceptible to change, and as more users help us by living their everyday lives with our software, we will change to fit their needs. This is starting to show little by little in the paradigm shift of our users from "what is wrong?" to "is it wrong?"

Neither Linux nor Windows is a universal solution, but bashing somebody because of a different interface is a sample of intellectual racism. Most of the linux "geeks" are very helpful and patient to new users in their new operating systems, their only difference from us is that they know linux and therefore act like mechanics when fixing it. You should not use a method employed mostly by them to bash linux as an inadequate platform forworking (not games, that's a whole another story). Besides, in a few months, all it can do is get better and better as mistakes are fixed and features improved.

Rather try other web browsers - Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera... all of them are for free and in most situations much better than IE.
