Thanks, for the guide. I don't really like using Vista built-in tools. I usually just use 3rd party tools for back up or just CTRL+C/V
I also turn off a lot of the services in Vista I don't normally use. Blackviper.com has some nice articles on services which can be disabled in Windows.
