The accompanying sample policy illustrates guidelines for the purchase of employee cell phones at Abilene Christian University. This policy addresses who will be provided with cell phones, how they are to be purchased and the manner in which they can be uses. For example, the policy states employees may use ACU-provided cell phones for incidental, personal use provided it does not add to the cost to ACU.
