Japan's DoCoMo Invests in PacketVideo

Japanese phone carrier NTT DoCoMo is investing $45.5 million to take a 35 percent share in U.S.-based PacketVideo Corp., reports an Associated Press story on seattlepi.com.


PacketVideo makes software for playing music and videos on DoCoMo mobile devices. Channel Web portrays the move as an effort to prop up the struggling company.
