e-Commerce Goes Flat

Online shopping growth remained flat in the first quarter and online travel dipped 1 percent, according to comScore.

 

And Chairman Gian Fulgoni said older shoppers and the wealthy especially have cut spending, apparently as they try to recover wealth lost in the economic downturn, reports MediaPost.

 

He said it's not clear whether e-commerce will regain its double-digit growth of the past, but according to The New York Times, it's not decreasing as offline shopping is.
