Tuesday night, Apple released firmware updates for MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and aluminum keyboard, reports the Mac Observer. The updates are available from the Apple Support site.

According to this ZDNet blog, the MacBook Air update will improve the stability of MacBook Air computers. The keyboard update will stop extra characters from appearing when typing.

TidBITS blogger Adam C. Engst reports having trouble manually installing the updates on his MacBook and recommends checking Update to see if you even need to go through the trouble.
