Amazon Cuts off Colorado Affiliates

Amazon continues to play hardball with states that pass legislation requiring sales tax on online sales, reports TechFlash.


Small businesses in Colorado raised a ruckus when lawmakers tried to craft legislation similar to other states', so the state wrote its law a little differently. E-tailers have to provide customers with a report showing how much they spent and might have to submit that information to state tax authorities as well. Now, Amazon has axed affiliates in Colorado, too.
