MySpace has hired its first chief financial officer, reports Bloomberg.
Mark Rosenbaum, most recently a consultant to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, will oversee budgeting, strategic planning and financial reporting for the struggling social-networking site.
Rosenbaum consulted on business intelligence and financial management at the Hollywood studio, but he also has roots in publishing. It's actually his second stint at a News Corp. property. He previously headed financial operations at Gemstar-TV Guide, according to CNET News.
