aQuantive Execs Bail from Microsoft

Posted by Susan Hall Sep 15, 2009 11:40:28 AM

Four former executives of aQuantive have left Microsoft a little over two years after it bought the online advertising company, reports TechFlash.

Karl Siebrecht, formerly president of aQuantive's Atlas unit, is joining online ad startup AdReady as president. Brent Turner is headed to ad company Marchex, and there's no word on the plans of Aaron Easterly and Brian Handly.

The story says some aQuantive execs were required by the deal to stay at Microsoft for two years. aQuantive CEO Brian McAndrews announced his plans to leave on Aug. 13, exactly two years after the deal closed.
