Vulnerability Found in Word

Susan Hall

If you just got the latest Patch Tuesday updates installed, that doesn't mean all is well.

Microsoft is warning of a vulnerability in Word 2002 that could allow remote execution of code, reports Computerworld. Other versions of Word are not affected. The company has issued workarounds until it can issue a patch.

Meanwhile, the company will issue the automatic update of XP SP3 at 10 a.m. Thursday, reports InfoWorld.
