According to PCWorld.com, UK police have arrested five people ranging in age from 15 to 26 for allegedly participating in a series of DoS attacks against major websites as part of the loosely affiliated group "Anonymous."
As BBC News points out, the attacks were carried out in support of Wikileaks. The attacks targeted such companies as MasterCard and PayPal for their decision to cut ties with the document-sharing site.
If convicted under the Computer Misuse Act of 1990, the men face 10 years in prison and an $8,000 fine.
