The personal details of thousands of Australians has been available on a free blogging site for over a month, reports Australian IT. The information includes Visa, Mastercard and American Express numbers with expiration dates, as well as home addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Many people had no idea how their information was stolen. Some information seemed to come from a vacation accommodation database, while other records came from a delivery organization.

As you might expect, most of the people on the list are Australian. However, the list also included information about people based in New Zealand, Germany and Britain.
