IE Patches to End for Windows XP SP2 Users

According to Computerworld, Windows XP SP2 users will no longer receive any Internet Explorer security updates after July 13 when the 2004 operating system will be retired. To continue to receive updates, users will need to install Windows XP SP3.


Last week, Microsoft confirmed a zero-day bug in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. However, that bug can be exploited using any browser and is not specific to Internet Explorer.
