According to WRAL.com, a hacker gained access to a computer server for 25 North Carolina community colleges that contained the personal information of nearly 51,000 people. The information included Social Security and driver's license numbers, but officials don't believe the hacker accessed those numbers. WLOS reports that the breach occurred on Aug. 23, but was discovered the next day.
