Making the iPhone work for Business

Flurry, a firm that offers analytic, deployment and monetization tools to developers, has identified the top paid and free iPhone business applications available at the App Store.

Unless you're absolutely craving a Verizon iPhone, Consumer Reports, like our Rob Enderle, is advising folks to hold off purchasing the Verizon iPhone 4 in lieu of a cooler next-generation version, according to the Austin Business Journal. Lance Whitnet at TMCnet provides a solid recap of what is and isn't known about the Verizon iPhone 4 as of yet.

News of the CDMA iPhone has also fueled speculation that Sprint is about to announce its own version of the iPhone, eWeek reports. Apple noted that its agreement with Verizon was non-exclusive and Sprint is set for a major announcement Feb. 7 in New York. At this time, it is still anyone's guess what it will be about.

There is also speculation that T-Mobile could be next to offer the iPhone. The carrier already offers a version of the device in Europe. Like Sprint, T-Mobile is sitting on a secret announcement in New York City as well.
