Usage Record for iPhone 3,1 Spotted by Developer

Posted by Ainsley Jones Nov 30, 2009 11:14:26 AM

iPhone application developer firm Pandav discovered a usage record for an iPhone that has not yet been announced. Developers at the company happened upon a usage record for an iPhone 3,1 in an analytics report. The unknown Apple device was used to access the iBart transportation guide for the San Francisco train system, TechShout reports.

The current iPhone 3G S was tagged as the iPhone 2,1. According to IntoMobile, similar reports surfaced about eight months prior to the release of the iPhone 3G S, meaning a summer launch wouldn't be too far out of the question.
