New iPhone Ready for Assembly Line?

Ainsley Jones

A tweet from Mobile Review editor-in-chief Eldar Murtazin has got the blogosphere all atwitter today. According to Murtazin, Apple has placed an order with Foxconn to begin manufacturing the iPhone 4G, and that's not all. Murtazin also hinted that the next version of Apple's wildly popular smartphone will include multitasking, IntoMobile reports.

This is just the latest Apple/Foxconn rumor floating about. Foxconn has also allegedly been tasked with manufacturing an Apple Tablet, according to Geek.com. Neither of these speculations would be all too surprising if proven true. Foxconn has worked with Apple for some time, and given Apple's propensity to release its iPhone models during the summer, this latest rumor makes a fair bit of sense.
