LiMo Open to Joining Forces with MeeGo

Earlier this week, Intel and Nokia merged their Linux operating systems to create the new MeeGo mobile platform. Sean Michael Kerner, writing for InternetNews, says MeeGo is good for the Linux device market.

 

When asked if LiMo would be interested in joining up with MeeGo, LiMo Executive Director Morgan Gillis replied:

That could be very logical and beneficial for the market.

One potential hangup could be MeeGo's governance model. If the parties involved can work through that, another partnership could be in the making, according to PC Magazine.
