At a press conference in London, HTC announced its new HTC Sensation smartphone. The 4G handset will be available this summer on T-Mobile in the U.S. and Vodafone in Europe. A follow-up to the MyTouch 4G, the Sensation has a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the latest version of HTC's Sense user interface. The smartphone is also equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an eight-megapixel autofocus rear-facing camera that is capable of recording 1080p video and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.
According to Forbes, the Sensation will be HTC's first handset that is compatible with HTC Watch, the company's movie and television download service. HTC Watch debuted with the HTC Flyer and will be stocked with about 600 film and TV titles for either purchase or rental at launch, according to HTC.
