Posted by Ainsley Jones Nov 5, 2009 10:18:32 AM

HTC has announced it has already begun shipping its HD2 smartphone to Asia and Europe. The Windows 6.5-powered smartphone features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera and is powered by Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon mobile processor. HTC plans to bring the HD2 to the United States through a major carrier in early 2010, according to CNET News.

T-Mobile is rumored to be the U.S. carrier for the device, PMP Today reports. The HD2 is expected to go head-to-head-to-head with Nokia's N900 and Motorola's Droid.
