HSPA Mobile Broadband Receiving Traction from Global Enterprises

Ainsley Jones

The enterprise community around the world is reaping the benefits of 3G, says a new survey commissioned by the GSMA. According to the study, 36 percent of enterprises use mobile broadband connectivity offered over HSPA as the principle mode of connecting their employees over mobile, reports IT Pro.

Nearly 25 percent of the 1,000 organizations surveyed said they believe HSPA will become the industry standard within the next five years and that enterprise mobile tech budgets will double in the next 12 months.

The survey also found that the majority of the workforce receiving mobile broadband devices are senior management and company sales representatives, says V3.co.uk.
