Hold on to Your Horses, Pre Not Shipping Just Yet

Posted by Ainsley Jones Feb 5, 2009 3:16:58 PM

A post from The Boy Genius Report yesterday stirred folks up a bit. Zach Epstein came across an internal document from Sprint that showed the target in-stock date for the Palm Pre as March 15.

Epstein later clarified his post by mentioning that the Pre is scheduled to replace the Palm Treo 755, which has an end-of-life date of late May, meaning that the Pre more than likely won't be released until late May or early June, says this Computerworld piece. Sprint declined to comment on The Boy Genius Report, but reiterated that it intended to ship the Palm Pre during the first half of 2009.
