Mobile Firefox Alpha Released

Susan Hall

Mozilla has released an alpha version of its Firefox browser for mobile devices, specifically Nokia's N810 and N880 Internet tablets, reports vnunet.com.

The company said it wants to make sure the browser, code-named Fennec, is of the same quality as its desktop version.

CNET News explores its features, which include full-screen display with navigation to the side, a version of the Firefox 3 Awesome Bar that combines history, bookmarks, and search, and capacity for add-ons.
