Microsoft Teams with Samsung to Promote Green IT

Microsoft and Samsung announced plans to jointly promote the green IT benefits of their combined product offerings. The green collaboration effort will encourage users to purchase more environmentally friendly PCs and touts the energy savings that can be had when using both Windows 7 and Samsung's 40nm DDR3 DRAM chips, YTN reports.

 

The partnership appears to be an ongoing one. Samsung also plans to adopt Windows 7 worldwide in its offices next year, according to BERNAMA.
