Microsoft Adds Zing to Bing with Ping

Ainsley Jones

Microsoft is testing a Web 2.0-sharing feature for Bing that will allow Web surfers to share some of their Bing searches with social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Dubbed Bing & Ping, the feature looks just like share features from Digg, Google Reader and other similar sites that allow sharing, says Google Watch.

Microsoft will be sending a special invitation to Facebook fans of Bing to test out the new feature, reports Ars Technica. The potential Bing feature is not available via Windows Live, but likely will be if testing is a hit.
