HP Unveils Windows 7-Friendly Notebooks

Posted by Ainsley Jones Sep 15, 2009 9:53:02 AM

As we inch closer to the release of Windows 7, PC manufacturers are preparing their wares to catch the eyes of consumers. One such client hardware vendor is HP, which announced new notebooks to coincide with the October 22 debut of Windows 7.

The Pavilion DM3, ProBook 5310m, Envy 13 and Envy 15 all feature aluminum and magnesium construction and are less than an inch thick making for light and stylish PCs for status-seeking consumers, reports TG Daily. The Pavillion DM3 and ProBook 5310m both feature a 13.3-inch LED display, 802.11n Wi-Fi and seven hours of battery life.

HP's Envy line targets premium consumers. The notebooks meet EPAT Gold Energy Star standards and its customers will have access to exclusive customer support with a dedicated staff and shorter wait times, according to Twice.
