Google Dashboard Lets Users Check Status of Apps

Ainsley Jones

It did not take Google long to make good on its promise to keep its customers better informed about service outages after Gmail went down earlier this week.

The company introduced the Google Apps Status Dashboard, which is designed to allow users to check the status of the company's services, reports Computerworld. The dashboard also offers information on when a problem with a service was discovered, when it will be resolved and what went wrong, according to CNET News.

The Google Apps Status Dashboard will be available to Google Apps subscribers, says InformationWorld.
