Firefox 3 Expected in June

Mozilla has announced that development on Firefox 3 is nearly done, with official release expected in June, reports Reuters.

It's putting the finishing touches on the test build, which promises improved security and memory use.

Its fourth beta was out for just a week and a fifth round of changes will involve "tuning the visual look and feel of the program" and further improving its stability, according to Mike Schroepfer, Mozilla's vice president of engineering.
