Ericsson released a new mobile broadband module specifically geared for netbooks. According to Ericsson, the F3307 module will make it easier for manufacturers to embed netbooks with wireless connectivity.

The company is working with Intel to validate the module with Intel's Pine Trail-M netbook platform, reports FierceWireless. In addition, the F3307 is compatible with HSPA technology and offers 7.2 Mbps downlink speeds and uplink speeds of 2 Mbps, says eWEEK.
