Dell Launches Adamo XPS

Dell has officially launched the Adamo XPS, which the company is touting as the world's thinnest. At 0.4 of an inch in thickness, the Adamo weighs in at just 3.2 pounds. The laptop consists of a 13.4-inch display, an ultra-low voltage 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of memory and a 128GB solid-state drive, reports InformationWeek.

When opened, the Adamo sits on a stand at the rear, allowing the laptop to rest at an angle. While slightly awkward, according to the folks at CNET News, it allows for a more ergonomic setup. Dell says it will begin selling the laptop just in time for the holidays. The starting price for the Adamo XPS is $1,799
