Dell has updated its Vostro line for small business customers with a thin, light notebook that features Intel Core processors and Hyperbaric cooling. The Vostro 130, the successor to the V13, is constructed with an aluminum case, zinc screen hinges and magnesium alloy palm rest, making it more rugged than previous models.
Dell is targeting entrepreneurs and SMB users with its $429 starting price point. The notebook's new cooling technology works by using an internal fan that draws air into the laptop to cool its internal components, Electronista reports. The Vostro 130 has a 13.3-inch display, runs Windows 7 Professional and is equipped with 4GB RAM and 500 GB storage capacity, according to PCMag.com.
