Mac OS X 10.6.5 has yet to be released to the public, but that hasn't stopped Apple from seeding an early version of Mac OS X 10.6.6 to developers. The move also signals that the release of 10.6.5 is likely imminent, according to AppleInsider. The Mac OS X 10.6.6 beta lends developer support to the recently announced Mac App Store.

Speaking of the Mac App Store, developers can now submit their Mac apps for review, CNET reports. Like with its iOS app store, Apple will take a 30 percent cut of sales from The Mac App Store. According to Apple, the marketplace will be open within 90 days.
