Add-ons Cause 70 Percent of IE8 Crashes

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 has its share of add-ons and it seems that despite the great features they provide, they mostly cause crashes. Ars Technica reports that 70 percent of IE8 crashes are caused by add-ons.

 

Interestingly, Flash is not counted among the list of add-ons causing crashes. Google is in the process of integrating its Chrome browser with Flash to minimize performance and security issues associated with the browser plug-in.
