President Obama Issues Video on Cyber Security Awareness

This week, President Obama issued a brief video explaining that he had declared October to be Cyber Security Awareness month, and addressing the importance of increasing awareness and practicing regular steps to raise security online, says The Washington Post.


Obama discussed the importance of creating "public-private partnerships" to help secure our nation's cyber infrastructure. The president also passed on tips to viewers on keeping themselves safe online by updating security software, not sharing passwords and being vigilant against scams and insecure sites.
