NYC Residents Track Stimulus with Dashboard

Kara Reeder

For citizens interested in how New York City is using money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Mayor's Office of Operations has deployed a NYC Stimulus Tracker tool.

According to Government Technology, the tracker separates the projects into eight categories. Users can see whether a program's execution is on time, fewer than 30 days behind schedule, or more than 30 days late. The tracker also shows how the stimulus "serves" citizens and chronicles the number of jobs created or retained for infrastructure projects.

There are plans to add new features to the NYC Stimulus Tracker for summary reports and customized reports.
