National Cyber Security Center Open for Business

The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center based in Arlington, Va, is open, according to The Money Times. The $9 million facility will operate 24 hours a day and features 61 computers that can access real-time data feeds, as well as analyze Internet traffic and worldwide telecommunication activities.

 

The NCCIC is a combination of the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team and the National Coordinating Center for Telecommunications, reports ComputerWeekly. It will also integrate the National Cybersecurity Center.
