Leaked Documents Offer Details on Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement

Following its initial denial of Freedom of Information Act requests from Knowledge Ecology International, Public Knowledge and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has published some details about the super-secret Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement.

According to vnunet.com, leaked documents offer insight into some of the proposals being considered, including a reevaluation of the role of ISPs in checking customers' use of pirated material, what rights people have to material for personal use, and the possibility of using customs officers to search for pirated material on mobile devices, although this has now been denied by the EU.
