WSO2 Releases Componetized SOA Framework

Ainsley Jones

WSO2 launched a new SOA framework built on the OSGi specification. Carbon is touted as the industry's first fully componetized SOA framework.

As a result, developers benefit by being able to deploy only the components they need, reports Redmond Developer. This eliminates the need for middleware integration and saves time and money.

According to Utilizer, WSO2 also announced its first products based on its Carbon framework. Included in the release are WSO2 Web Services Application Server 3.0, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, WSO2 Registry 2.0 and WSO2 Business Process Server.
