Ainsley Jones

eHarmony announced it has hooked up with Netezza for its data warehousing appliances. The online dating company pushes upwards of 12TB of data to Netezza at any one given time.

eHarmony first began using Netezza's system with immediate success in October, reports PC World. According to Boston Business Journal, eHarmony uses the system to extract and analyze the data of its more than 20 million subscribers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Netezza's entry-level systems, not including support, begin at under $200,000.
