It Really Is the End for Netscape

After offering a one-month reprieve, AOL has issued its last update to Netscape and urges users to switch to Flock or Firefox, reports Computerworld.


Though users can opt to stick with the once-dominant browser, no more updates or security fixes will be issued.


As ZDNet blogger Larry Dignan says:

It's a sad day -- for the three Netscape users that are left.
