Business Objects User Group Forming

Susan Hall

A new global user group for customers of Business Objects is being formed out of the Americas' SAP Users' Group, reports CIO.com.

SAP acquired the business intelligence vendor earlier this year in a 4.8 billion euro ($6.78 billion) deal. But the transition hasn't always gone smoothly. Some Business Objects users were angered when they were unable to access SAP's support lines in July.

The member-led user group will offer the chance to exchange ideas, work out problems and establish a cohesive customer voice, according to B Eye Network. Membership will be free until 2010.
