Template Keeps Track of Hardware, Software Purchases, Assets

Posted by Patrick Avery Sep 24, 2009 10:55:42 AM

IT Business Edge partner ITManagerToolkits.com has released the 2010 edition of its Budget & Finance Toolkit for IT, and has placed one of the tools in the Knowledge Network. That document, a Hardware Capitalization Template, is designed to help you track the financial implications of the computer hardware and software that your organization purchases. There are two spreadsheets in this template to track the assets separately and a summary sheet to reflect the total purchases of hardware and software assets.

As mentioned before, this is part of the Budget & Finance Toolkit for IT, which contains nine customizable templates covering the gamut of IT financial management needs. Other resources in this toolkit include a 2010 IT Departmental Budget Template, a ROI Template and a Purchase Order Tracking Template.

The Knowledge Network has several other free tools provided by ITManagerToolkits.com. Here is a list of all of them.
