Is Your IT Project Feasible?

Posted by Patrick Avery Nov 4, 2009 11:54:33 AM

Particularly in this strained economy, there are a lot of risks associated with starting a new IT project. So it's important to take a hard look at these risks to see if it is feasible to move forward. Info-Tech Research Group has put together a Feasibility Study Template and uploaded it to the Knowledge Network. This template gives decision makers tasked with a feasibility study a starting point for creating a comprehensive document. The template provides guidance on the person effort required to complete each section, a table of contents outlining what should make up a feasibility study, and detailed guidance on what should go into each section of the document.

Use this template to reduce document preparation pressures and create a standard feasibility study document for the company.

Here are some other Knowledge Network resources that might be helpful.
