Integration Support for SugarCRM

Posted by Loraine Lawson Jul 25, 2008 1:17:25 PM

SnapLogic announced this week it's offering a SugarCRM Solution Pack extension to its data integration framework. For those of you not familiar with SnapLogic, it's an open source product that uses what it calls "Really Simple Integration." That basically means it's based on RESTful Web technology. SnapLogic markets its tool as a simple way to integrate data from databases, SaaS applications, SOA Web services and other common data sources.

The SugarCRM Solution Pack will support both standard SugarCRM deployments and Sugar On-Demand. It will include a complete set of SnapLogic Resources for reading, writing and updating every SugarCRM module, including Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts and Campaigns, according to the press release. It will also include help with migrating customer records from other internal CRM systems to Sugar On-Demand and creating custom data feeds so authorized users can import SugarCRM data into desktop applications, including Excel.

The SnapLogic SugarCRM Solution Pack will be available as a free download from SnapLogic Aug. 4., and later that month on SugarExchange.
